This playlist is based on the emotions explored in chapter 3 of Atlas of the Heart by Bréne Brown: boredom, disappointment, expectations, regret, discouragement, and resignation. While these aren’t the most pleasant feelings to explore, they are part of the human experience. Listening to songs which reflect your current emotional state can be helpful, but be sure not to get “stuck” by just listening to songs in that mood state after a few songs.
